i have a ttr 125l and i want to put a 12 bar on it because my finder is way too short to scrape. i would have to do like a 10:30 for it to scrape, and im not quite that good. my queston is....is my subframe strong enough to hold a bar or will it bend or break. hit me back

 

i got a 01 xr 100 with a 12 bar i made, its made of stainless steel tubing. its mounted to the rear subframe and seems very strong, i can thrash the hell out of it with confidence. on my xr the bar is 7 inches from the fender and sits a perfect 12 when i scrape. hope this helps any.

 

did you have to cut ur finder, and how many bolts did u use and size?

 

the bar is mounted to 2 flat plates welded across the frame rails. the bar is held to those mounting plates through 4 3/8" bolts. got some pics, hope they help
