i know the stuff is bad ***, so i aquired a 5 gallon butckin of some, my question is this: it says on the jug it is "Synthetic Air Compressor and Indsturial Oil (with Synertec)" does that mean that its ok to run in my stuntbike or fiddy? or what about my car? there is no 10W anything on any of it so it made me wonder if it is even safe?

 

i believe that is oil you use in your air tools and air jack hammers and such. i dont believe that is good for an engine...

the oil we put in our compressor at work is straight 30w but i have no idea about that particular oil.

 

deisel oil and bike oil is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY different. car oil and bike oil is also way different, friction modifiers for the wet clutch. just use bike specific oil.

it will mess up ur clutch. ive heard royal purple makes great oil, but just like all oil companies they make all different kinds of oil. i think u may have bought the wrong oil. and if it is the kind used for compressors i def wouldnt put in a motor. probably will break down from the heat. hope this helps you.

 

i think that is some kind of mineral oil which prob wouldnt be very good for your motor but i dnt really know exactly, i would think if the bucket doesnt say anything about it being for engines or whatever i wouldnt use it

 

awesome thanks alot bro, i didnt buy it; i help a buddy put a bunch of stunt stuff on his bike so he could get started and this is how he repayed me, not knowing its not motor oil for cars...thanks everyone
