front end shutter/vibration
first off i know there is a thread where this was talked about, however i can't find it. i looked with google, and look at ton's of pages with no luck, so im gonna ask again. my front end shutters when doing endo's, and its very bad. it used to do it rarely but i thought it was from a warped rotor.
so i have replaced pads and rotor's, and now its ten times worse and more frequent. i have check and cleaned calipers to make sure they didn't stick, and they function fine. the only thing left would be wheel bearings and stem bearings. anybody ever figured this out and fixed it?
thanks drew

Re: front end shutter/vibration
shitty front tire would do it.......look at it and check for cupping, looks like the tread wears on the front edge, but not on the back edge of each tread. Comes from running improper pressure or never riding on anything but the center of the tire.
Other things that can do that are bad wheel bearings, bad stem bearings, and loose stem bearings. You could spend around $100 and put all those bearings in new, which isn't a bad maintenance thing to do anyways. Then get yourself a new front tire. If it stills does it, you should give me your bike! haha
