acerbis DHH loose connections..

recently bought a used acerbis DHH headlight form a buddy in mint shape for half the price.. anyways i mocked it all up today on the F4 and after spending the time to label and put everything in seperate bags for my upper and everything I decided to take it out for a test ride quickly, within 5 minutes I was being pulled over.. luckily i have everything ghetto rigged to keep it legit.. mirror mounted on left side of cage, turn signals zip tied to lower.. low and highbeam.. ...anyways the vibration seems to **** with my connections and cause my lights to go out so what do you guys do to keep your lights hooked up?

sumpin aint right, redo the whole ****, either solder or use male female connectors and unless you are drunk when doing this it should be good to go mine used to work great and I had it hooked up directly to the battery and my handbrake bolt for a ground (ghetto) but I did many for friends

Re: acerbis DHH loose connections..

DHH headlight is designed for offroad bikes so they are pretty sturdy and should cope with vibrations FINE!! if its not something youve done when fitting it up then the headlight is faulty!! but I'd solder all the connection or use male-female connectors with a decent crimp tool (not a pair of pliers! ) then try again before deciding the headlight is junk.
