How do I change the front sprocket on a 2003 636? It's not similar to any I've done and I can't find info on it anywhere including our search.
I'm looking for the proper tool, and what to do with the bent washer I believe was bent from the factory.

lol, take a screw driver and a hammer and un-bend that washer then use a socket on a impact gun.. all bikes that are new have bent washers that i've seen.

There are actually three points to grab the nut from. The third being the square shaft sticking outward. Which point do I grab? Does anyone possibly have a rough idea on the size socket needed?

My intention is to go -1 front +4 rear, but so far I'm only stock front +4 rear. Should I swap the front, or just run the +4 rear? I want play slow, but not tooo slow.

 

dude, you can do "slow" on stock gearing, its actually a bit easier to do on stock gearing. The reason people run larger sprockets is to help with stalling.. its harder to do circles with stock sprockets... but you wont be doing circles any time soon. so changing your gearing at all is most likely slowing your learning process down.
