2003 F4i FI help

First off let me say that I did try the google search for any info on this repair and only found one thread and it didnt really help. The problem is that the FI light is showing up on my gauges. It doesnt blink on the gauges (don't know if there is something you have to do to make it blink to get the code.. if any one could let me know that would be great). With the FI light on the bike runs fine but the fan will not kick in at 225 degrees. If it gets a little hotter and i turn the bike of and then just turn the key on the fan will sometimes than kick on. My question is would this be a bad temp sensor that is causing this and the light to come on. And how do you make the FI light blink for codes??? Thanks for the help.

If you only stunt it why not hot wire it just make a ground and plug that ground wire it into the radiator sensor plug so when you turn your key on the fan kicks on always.

Re: 2003 F4i FI help

i heard that the motor for the fan is small so it will blow if you constantly have it on and i ride it all over not just in the lot. so it would be on a lot. any one know how i can get the code to read??
