Attn Bill! Extending push rod on Full Throttle master

I bought a Full Throttle set up ages ago for a Honda 919. The mounting was same as other Hondas (45mm between the two holes). But the push rod only needed to be quite short due to the shape of the foot lever. So Bill shortend a push rod on one of his masters and hooked me up. Everything was fantastic. It fit right up and worked like a charm. Later I used this master in a 600RR. It still fit perfect and worked awesome. Fast forward to now, I have an F4i and I want to keep using this master. However the F4i foot lever requires a very long push rod on the master cylinder.

My question is, should I swap the push rods, or should I machine a piece to mate with a short extra length of threaded rod? Is the Honda push rod interchangeable with the FTI rod? Bill can you confirm? Also how do I remove the push rod? Pry the dust seal off and remove a circlip? I am mechanically minded enough to trust myself with brake equipment. Muchos gracias!

the rod is seperate from the plunger so it was a very simple swap

Re: Attn Bill! Extending push rod on Full Throttle master

I have a FTI footbrakemaster from a 600rr on my f4i. I took one of these and extended the bolt buy screwing it in the bolt from the fullthrottlemaster and took a spare bolt and screwed in on the other side.
