I am trying to convert my 2004 F4i from a banana seat to the split seat style. I have a list of parts that I made that I will need. Am I missing anything?
Subframe, tail fairing, front/back seats, undertail, brake light lens. Thats all I can think of that I would need. If I am missing something please let me know.

I was also wondering if the subframe from a 2001 is the same as the subframe from a 2004. On ebay theres a couple of subframes for sale and the seller is saying that it will fit 2001-2006 f4i's. I know it will fit the bike but will a 2004 subframe fit a 2001 tail fairing?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

to use a split seat tail u need a 01-03 subframe...

i believe you also need a battery tray...

u do need the battery tray, the bracing is differnt!!

 

it is so easy to know what is the difference from an f4 between f4i subframe.

f4i subframe is black

f4 subframe polished

you ll need f4i subframe with undertrays and no f4 wont fit into f4i.
