Ok I am trying to get this p.o.s. to run and its starting to **** me off!!!!
It had spark for a while then nothing. I have power at the end of the plug wire but it must not be enoff to spark a plug?? The coil, plug wire, plug are new.

So I'm trying to figure out if or how you would adjust the points in the engine. The wire comes out of the left side case cover so its not something that is easy to get at. Do you just replace them when they are weak



Oh and its a 1985 70cc honda 3 wheeler

 

I think its the same setup used in a fiddy???

 

is the boot good? and what color was the spark your looking for a blueish white,if you have that when you take the wire out of the boot then the boot is bad,

 

Negitive on the same setup as a 50, the 50 uses a AC-CDI type of ignition
