F4i Broken Engine Mount, Any Help?

The left mount bolt broke off in the engine mount, and it is flush with the mount, so no threads to grab it, i tried drilling to start a hole to extract it with the reverse bit, but barley made a dent,

anyone know or suggest a drill bit, or a better way or something,
maybe a diamond tip or something?????
thanks for any help,
i tried for an hour last night just drilling and got no where, had all kinds of different size bits and everything

any sharp bit should work. try going to buy a new one, they are cheap. i have used titanium in the past with great success. and for the extractor, buy the really agressive looking ones. i think they are meant for tubing or something, but they work 1000x better than the ones that look like a reverse screw.

try a small bit and work your way to a bigger one and use a square extractor with a hand tool not a drill gun.

so you have had experience with the heli coil on the mount, it sucked????
i wouldnt think it would be all that great on a engine mount, i have done them on valve cover bolts and smaller stuff help up great for that, the locktight was a quick fix to ride last night, **** take out the enigne to weld and tap, pain in the *** yah go ahead and laugh, this is gonna suck,

no i never broke a engine mount.. i've never heli coiled **** either. you should just drill through the engine mount and run a longer bolt with a nut
