i just picked up an 03 gsxr 600, when i looked at it we had to jump it to start w. a truck and it started fine. when i got home i hooked it up to a battery charger and it just kept cranking.....my friend had a similar problem and a local shop told him there was a reset switch that need to be reset??????his worked, anyone know where it is? also there is a cage on the bike, how do i go about un bolting it?

It's a sick innovations cage. there are allen head bolts inside the tubes that you need to take out. As far is it not starting. i have never had a problem with it not starting, but listen for the fuel pump when you turn on the key. oh and i know it's dumb, but make sure the kill switch is on.

you never want to hook up a car to a motorcycle they operate on a diffrent electrical circuit, you run the risk of damaging the bike, your rectifier regulator or magneto could be bad,

try warming up the fuel pump with a bic lighter.

this is true, if yer guna jump it from a car make sure the car is NOT running.. you'll def fry some **** otherwise..

if the car was running then your rectifier is toasted

well now the bike starts up, i think the battery was toast, but with the new battery and with the old oneas well, as soon as i turn the key the fan or something is brutally load.....on my 01 600 when you turn the key it makes a hissing nose. what do you think it is?
