Can you fit a 600 motor in a 98 gixxer 750 frame?

Can you fit a 600 motor in a 98 gixxer 750 frame?
Has anyone of you done this before? Does anyone know if it's possible? They look pretty much the same.
I'm also wondering if you need to change the wiring harness or can you keep the same?

I'm curious about this one. My buddys got a 97 gixxer 600. Is it possible to put in a fuel injected motor? His is about to blow, so I figured we might as well throw a newer year gixxer motor in there. Anyone know?

750 and 600 frame are different 00and up I had a 600 frame with a 750 motor and it was butchered in so going the other way I would assume the same. The forward mounts are moved back on the 750 compared to the 600

I had a 01 gixxer 1k with a 600 motor, only needed custom front/top mounts, all the harness worked out fine, it ran a little rich because the 1k ECU was still there and 1k's require a little more fuel, no problems though. it should fit alright, don't know about wiring on those crazy old carb bikes
