towing a bike

so im going to bikeweek and i dont wana bring a trailor (im guna tow the bike with a 1992 buick) i plan on just strapping the front tire to the hitch and dragging thr rear tire , im guna take the chain off ,, any body ever do this?

I've seen the front tire in the trunk....everything strapped down......the hitch just sounds like a bad idea.....

the trailor hitch just came in today ,, im guna weld up some recever bracket that holds my tire and ill keep you guys updated, wish me luck ,,

**its like 1000 miles my tire will be fine

Hah i dunno if id be worried about the buick my moms had 300 and some thousand miles on before she got rid of it and it was still running like a champ.
