I can get you a real good price on any new vortex sprocket you want. They have some stuff too, blue or black anodized ones look pretty sweet. Check them out at vortexracing.com and let me know what your interested in. I'll probably be calling them early next week anyways to order for the 636 I'm picking up.

Let me know Ed!

525 is way stronger then 520 and last 90% longer then 520 crap, it also helps to stay away from shity aluminum rear sprockets. 525 steel sprockets are the way to go for longevity.

Re: 03-04 636 sprocket

520's with aluminum sprockets can last me 1-2 seasons, but it all depends how well I take care of it.....No 600 needs more then a 520, if you take care of your **** it will last If your lazy get a 530 and never clean, lube, or adjust the slack...

Re: 03-04 636 sprocket

520 with steel sprockets and good maintance will last pretty long, but johnny you have to remember ED likes to keep almsot stock gearing, so theres alittle bit more load on thier sprockets n chains then yours

Yeah either way it all comes down to maintance! Ive had my 520's and aluminum sprockets last pretty good, and Ive seen people ruin brand new chains and aluminum sprockets in 5 min.....Over tighten or over slack a new chain and sprocket and their both finished in 5 min.....

With steel you dont have to worry so much you can just ride and not worry about them, and their still gonna last....
