Re: 03-04 636 Fork Issues

its all about the 05 swap on 03's.. like i did, i was the first to do 954 on 600rr and so far the first to do 05 onto 03 zx6r's

an ps: 03 zx6r gauge clusters do not work on 04 R6's... it burns out the switch box (left side subframe mounted box) and the neutral light don't work any more on the r6 lol.. only starts now with kick stand up and clutch pulled in

Re: 03-04 636 Fork Issues

Re: 03-04 636 Fork Issues

relocate it and run your ignition power wire through your kick stand switch so your bike will only start whe u put your kick stand up... but leave the key in your ignition in the on position.

Re: 03-04 636 Fork Issues

I was going to try and use the 05 tripples and forks when I did my wheel swap, but they use a different fender mounting location and I didnt have a fender so I passed on the forks. But from what I gathered everything looked swapable, **** I just bolted on the 05 swingarm and only had to swap 1 seal.

You can buy a new fork leg but they come with the bottoms already attached, and each side is $300 retail from a dealer, so your better off just gettting a used set of forks...... .
good info
thanks
I'll still think there should be a damn recall

thanks for the help fellas
