636 bypass!!!! here it is

found this on clear water biker. here is every thing you need.....sticky this **** so there is no more questions....it has a gixxer on there but the 636 is the same set up just about. i run this exact same set up as well as Ed from legion and it works PERFECT!!!! eds had his mod done for well over a year and has ridin a 30+ mile wheelie with it so id say it works. even for high rev stuff

correct me if im wrong but........
that looks like it totaly seals off the vent and wouldnt allow the crank case to [vent] and might create pressure that could cause some leaks from the pressure in the crank case like blowing out gaskets

Re: 636 bypass!!!! here it is

It also works on the 2003 R6. I did it to my track bike a few years ago for the extra power. It seemed easier to do on the R6 though.

Re: 636 bypass!!!! here it is

I thought it completely closed off the vents too.. but those kleen air valve thingys... actually flow out the exhaust ports.

essentially you have connected your crankcase vent to your headers... HOW the hell this keeps oil in.. instead of sucking it out we'll never know.

Re: 636 bypass!!!! here it is

don't hose clamp the hose that slips onto the valve cover. valve cover seals will blow on higher milage bikes with lots of blow by other wise.

Re: 636 bypass!!!! here it is

i dont know if he did the same mod but here is a quote from jhonny p

[That hose is my crankcase breather mod, I didnt have luck with running a filter on the end and when I ran it to the head cover it would blow out all my engine gaskets.....So I have that hose commin out the crankcase breather, goes around my motor then back into the airbox like stock. By the time the oil makes it way half way down the hose the wheelie is over, and it drains itself back down into the crankcases. Havent locked up since I did it]

Mine werent and I went throught alot of trouble makin an aluminum barbed hose fitting to weld onto my valve cover, and all it did was blow my gaskets out and have oil seep out of all my engine covers. Not sayin that it doesnt work but on my very low milage 636 motor it didnt......Some people say vaccum in the engine cases is good and others say its bad. But hey whatever works right
