I took my Cluch basket out. Behind it is a chain that I believe runs the oil pump. This thing is loose as a goose. Has like an inch of slack in it and its a tiny chain. Honda dealer said this is normal. Does that sound right? Also how do i get the gears to line back up when i put my basket back in?

 

The Chain Is Supposed To Be That Loose. There Should Be A Hole In The Case To Slide A Pry Tool Into.

 

I think 954 has that same chain, some have reported that the chain has snapped, if you loose oil pressure suddenly, it probably has snapped.

but probably it is loose always.
