f4i ram air tubes

f4i ram air tubes

Anyone have any tricks to get the ram air tubes back into the airbox. I cannot get the dam thing to go back in. Thanks

I tried to get mine back on the other night, got fed up trying in the end and cable tied them on then I took em' off again? don't ask...

anyway, it's fukin impossible to get the bastard things back in, hope someone posts a trick to get em in

Use some lube like WD40 around the edges. Then fold the tube a little and stick the rear edge in and let front of the tube go into the airbox hole. Then finally pop the rest of the tube in by unfolding it and slighty pulling it into position. Hope this makes sense.

get a heat gun and heat up the tube ends, insert.

lift your tank up and take the top of the airbox off, so you can push and pull ont he tube at the same time

i just folded it push the tube in past the rigde and slowly pulled um out to seat them in the ridge..
