Still can't stop
Alright fellas I asked u for help before and i did all i could on my brakes...Bled them 10,000,000 times, pushed pistons back it to try to get air out thru the master. The brakes still ****..I can't lock up the front at all WTF is goin on??
Anyone else has some advice.. Like i said i installed DB bars (please dont hate) put a longer brake line in and changed the fluid. Like i said ..bled them so many ****ing times already i dont know what to do.. Oh yeah and I cleaned the pads and rotors with Brakleen so everything is nice and clean..but still weak front brake DONT lock up... HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP

I think you have pressure from the master or obviously you would have already stated that but if your pads are soaked you will have to change them...

soaked......
Re: Still can't stop
try it my way if it doesnt work you need a new master........open both bleeders.. cover them with you fingures apply enough pressure to let the fluid out when you pump but not let air in when you let go .have some one pump the master and keep the res full..pump slow and steady but fast enough so the air bubbles dont have time to rise back up the lines .and make sure your lever is adjusted all the way out so you get a full pump
Re: Still can't stop
Hmm i might've get them pads wet a bit. No didnt get the Vac tool yet. I really had a few minutes to work on it today so i just bled it one more time and the pushed the pistons in...and cleaned the pads...I guess i'll just keep tryin to bleed. if it won't work i'll try to get me that Vacuum tool. If still no results..then new pads. Thanks for the advice fellas.
Longer brake line shouldn't really have anything to do with it right?? I dont think so anyways.
Kirk how much u looking to spend for a 636??

Re: Still can't stop
it took a long time to get mine right also. either get the vacume bleeder or you can gravity bleed the breaks. fill it up with fluid crack the bleeders and let it sit over night. them fill up the res and bleed it agian. it should presure up quick. thats what i had to do for mine.

bleed'em as best you can, then sit there for a LONG time and hit the brakes over and over and over.
when you push the pistons apart (guessing you used a C-clamp?) it can take some time for them to get back close enough to the rotor, or so i've been told.
Re: Still can't stop
In mechanical terms which I would use while describing brakes on a car I would say it's Spongy (the Lever), and it doesn't really grab to lock up. Usually that would be air or mastr.
Re: Still can't stop
try riding your brakes and getting them hot then bleeding them right after. Dont get them extreamly hot, just nice and warm. Go for like a fifteen min ride and just stop a little harder than usual.
works for me
