dont know about a busa, but i just shipped an '03 gsxr 1000 motor... without crate it was 155lbs... crate added 15-20 more lbs...

yeah i would say add a 10-20 lbs to that...
I layed mine on my bathroom scale and it was accurate (I know because they re-weighed it at the shipping place)... you just have to balance it without messing up the reading! LOL

I would say calling it 173 is a safe bet!
