f4i tail reinforcements

What are people doing to reinforce the area of the tail between the main and passenger seat?

I just cut out some sheet metal that fit and used a few pop rivots....

Ive seen plates of aluminum used as well...

Since there are several F4i owners posting in this thread already. Can someone please tell me the proper direction that an F4i fuel pump goes into the tank? I know it will work either way but what is the correct way?

you have a notch right where the line bolts to the tank like a little cradle for the line that part goes towards the front of the tank

i used a piece of wood and 45ed the top edge .... no cracking for my tail

L shaped metal bracket bolted to the sub to take weight off the plastics
