just simple quick question about sealant/gasket
just simple quick question about sealant/gasket
there is 3 kinds as I saw.red, blue and black silicone at autozone.I used red cause it said high temp, but as I came to find out it's for water based parts not oil.I used it on oil pan after putting oil pickup in.now it has a leak.so which one is better for oil parts on engine?pretty sure I used black before, but want to be sure this time cuz taking oil pan off is pain in ***

I used it before and works fine,it's made for cars so don't see why wouldn't work on bikes
I just don't remember which one I used. Re: just simple quick question about sealant/gasket
though whats great about honda bond, you apply it to the gasket area and let it sit for 20-30 minutes till it drys then slap it on the motor. not messy n never hardens.
