I just bought a 2002 cbr954rr, not sure what temp it should run. I've seen as high as 220 degrees.... to me this seems too high. BUT, i've only riddin around town. I havent got it on the highway yet. maybe it will run cooler on open roads. Thanks in advance.

 

I have an 03 954 and the fan usually kicks on at 212. When Im cruising on the interstate it'll read about 190 or so. The highest i seen my temp gauge go was around 230, but that was a really hot day in august last summer. Be worried if the temp gets around 250 and it starts flashing.

yeah 230 and below is norm. my r6 would goto 264 if i shut it off after it hit 232.

try running no thermostat
