900rr old school help

First, I have looked through numerous old posts but could not find anything specific, not too mention there were a ton for the 9, so I need to ask. I have a 99 900rr, and after about 15 minutes in the lot practicing slow stuff, the bike get a miss and seems to bog. I am obviously attributing this to the carbs and getting flooded. Or? is there a fix for this or maybe something else wrong?? I know this bike was stunted for a long time so any help with anything on it would be great.

Sink the carbs and ride with a full tank keep your idle at 3500 to 4000 just keep on the break. I was just saying I miss my RR. Bring the bike to a dealer tell them to clean and sink you carbs it will help

Re: 900rr old school help

I agree with everyone

1. Always run with a full gas tank
2. Clean/sync carbs

I still got my 9's and love them. I am rebuilding one tomorrow because I destroyed one again... Dam gremlins...

You will love it

Re: 900rr old school help

to go through the carbs and carb sync. 5hrs plus parts is what you'd probably be looking at.
