Gas coming out of keyhole?

project-c2 is an unknown quantity at this point

Gas coming out of keyhole?

I have an 04 GSXR 1000. When I pull wheelies, gas comes out of the keyhole for the gas cap.

Anyone else have this problem.

sounds like the gasket around the cap is leaking. could give the appearance that gas is "leaking" out of the key hole. remove the entire cap and check.

i think there are screws on the bottom of the lock. check that they are tight.

Thanks guys. No, the gas is only coming out of the key hole, cause it's not under the ring part of the gas cap. I'll see this weekend. Thanx again.
