hey guys im new here (to stuntlife anyhow) here's the deal, "my buddy" has a 929 tryin to figure out a way to cross reference the motor. is there any way to run vin's to see if motor came with the bike? or what numbers SHOULD be on the motor? been on 100+ sites with no luck, only a vin cross reference chart. that doesnt help.

If It Is Sc44e-210001~ You Have 929. If It Is Sc44e-200000~you Have 900.

If The First Five Digets Of The Moter Vin Start With (sc50e-) Then You Have A 954 Motor.

Or you can just look and see what is stamped on the cylinder wall...

 

yeah its a 929 (sc44e) just tryin to find out specific engine to bike numbers they gotta be related.
BTW carfax dont help with that but thanx

 

basically i need to find like a special site that says enter vin# and we'll tell you the engine# that should be in it. know what i mean.

 

go to the police station they can either help unless your doing something on the DL and dont want to get caught. lol

find a friend who has a cop as a friend but sometimes to dig that deep they need to make arrests, my friends father is a cop in NY and he has run numbers on quads and trailers but to find engine numbers if it comes back shady they might have to make arrests and you dont want to go down that road so just find a friend who knows someone who knows someone and slip him a piece of paper good luck i have lost quads because of that sh** so i say f- the police do it on the DL just dont sh8 where you eat
