I have an 02 f4i and I want to hook up a switch to trun the fan off or on whnever i want, how would i go about doing this?? I have a switch with 2 wires commin off of it.. any help would be great!!

 

run a power wire from the ignition to the switch....then connect a wire from the switch to the power wire on the fan! easy as ****. just make sure the fan is going the right way, pulling air from the radiator NOT pushing!

 

what wire on the ignition, and how would you control what way the fan is going??

 

One wire goes to the ground wire on the left side of the radiator and the other wire goes to the temp sensor thats coming out the radiator its on the left side of the radiator also about half way down you can just tap the wires and leave them hooked up to original places and the fan will work by your switch and also still come on automatically at 22?

 

so hook one wire from the switch to the ground of the fan, and then the other wire from the switch to the other sensor wire, and my switch will work?

all set! I figured it out, just ran a wire from the ground to the switch and from the sensor to the switch and now i can turn my fan off and on, thanks a lot for everyones help!!
