? i bought a gsxr from somebody but he didnt get the valves adjusted at 600 oil has been changed though is that a big deal or can i just get it now at 2500 miles????

 

Valves shouldn't need to be adjusted that soon. Check your manual for periodic maint.

 

it says 600 but alot of people tell me its not that important. as long as you change the oil.

 

Yeah, I don't own a Kawi, my r1's first adjustment is at 12,000.

 

You'll be fine, depending riding type, changing oil can be anywhere from 2000 to 3000 miles. Remember that bikes oil is used for not only the engine, but your transmission and your clutch, so it's triple duty can be even more degrading to it's viscosity.

 

GSXR's don't get a valve adjustment til 14,000 miles......
