best way to fix forks...

My fork seals are leaking to the point where my breaks and front tire are covered in oil, so i guess it is time to do something about it... Im wondering how you guys support the bike to take the front end off and if there are any tricks or easy ways to change the seals.

thanks

An engine hoist will work. You might want to tie each side of the bike down for support. As we all know, they can get wobbly on one wheel...

Re: best way to fix forks...

im doin this right now, done it 4 times so far....just hang the front fo the bike bout 3 inches off the ground. mine is in my garage with no front forks hanging right now.....i use soft straps and tie downs and usually can get it up by myself. put the front tire ontop of something that is like 4 inches tall, snug up the tiedowns and pull the block or whatever u use out. u should be hangin now

for fixin fork seals search google for sportbike fork seals..ull get a bunch of how to's

good luck dont *** up the seals when u beat them in or all the work u just did is useless. smooth hits with a seating tool and ull be fine
