+2 on R6 ?
hey all, I'm going +2 in the rear on my 02 R6. Just want to know what to expect. I'm able to power wheelie in first gear no problem, now with the new gearing will I be able to power up in 2nd? Just need to know what to look for so there are no surprises. Any input on this is appreciated.
what year 6 do you have? I just did a 14/46 520 conversion on my 03(like 5 up on the rear) and i can hammer it in second around like 9g's dip it then hammer it again and she comes right up..Definetly makes a big difference on the six.. you should consider going down one in the front and up one in the rear 15/49, or even 15/50 believe me you will be happy..

Gearing usually goes... 1 down in front is usually the same as +2 on the back. it very's with different bikes though.
On my 6R im 1 down and 6up. definately gearing down helps. i did the 1 down in front first and noticed a ton of difference. It helped keep the front end up when i'd start to lose it.
But yea that +2 should definately help with the 2nd hitters.
rock on:YEAH :YEAH :YEAH
