I bought a new cctl for my 00 cbr f4. I dropped in and the pin came out that hold the tensioner in. I got it back together but was wondering how tight to you need to wind up the spring? If you have taken one apart you should know what i mean.

 

I just tighten it as tight as I could while holding the plunger and sliping the c-ring on.... I know what you mean, it's just a *****. as long as it pushes out with some "good" force and doesn't slide back you should be cool.

 

i tightened it pretty good. really i just didn't want to over tighten it. I hope its fine.
