So i picked up a 95 zx6r and the valves are junk and i found an engine for cheap. does anyone know if a motor from a 98 zx6r would fit? The one I found looks like the same motor but I dont know for sure though.

 

i thiink as long as its a :"R" motor it will work... i know the "E" model wont, i belive it runs 95-99 theres a few differances in the motors but it will bolt up, make sure you put your crank trigger etc. from the 95, 2000-2002 will fit to has different compresstion etc. and use the carbs that came with the motor
