How to tell if my motor is a 600 or 750 (giixer)

Sup guys, i have a bit of a problem, how can i tell if my motor in my 1997 gsxr is a 600 or 750. my title and reg, says its a 750 but the frame is def a 600 and im so confused. Im abuot to buy a clutch and i dont wanna end up getting the wrong one. I mean its always pulled like a 750 but i still have my doubts.

how do u know the frame is a 600? the title goes with the frame, not the motor... so either you have a restamped frame... or are clueless... read the motor numbers on it, and find a suzuki vin book, and it'll tell u what each number or letter means, and tell u the motor size

Or you can just look on the side of the engine for displacement. It will either say 599cc or 749cc.

it's a 97... you don't think in the past 9 years maybe the hp has dropped? and could be similar, not like a huge hp diff anyway, probably within 10-15.. and after this many years good luck telling a diff

So a 750 with 10,000 miles and 3 cylinders that hold less than 50 psi has more power than a fresh 600? *Sarcasm on* Why not just pump the cylinders to determine the displacement. It's probably easier and cheaper than a dyno run. *sarcasm off* Dumbass.

I thought it was more creative than "What kind of glue are you sniffing?".

5th letter on the vin of the frame will tell you what cc the frame is for, N= 600 (599) R=750 (749)
look for the same letter at the begining of the engine number.
