does any one know if i need a second cooling fan for slow **** on these or do they stay pretty cool with one also its usally like 100 degrees around here well during summer.

 

Get some engine ice or other quality engine coolant. Make sure to tip the bike back n fourth (cap off) to get all the air out. If that doesnt keep her cool then get the 2nd fan. Put it to a switch and your good. Got any good spots in Stockton. I used to live off of hammer lane as a kid.

 

i live off of hammer now no real good spots we found a road in the industrial area but last time we went out there were alot of people so its probably gone now.

just hard wire ur stock fan and engine ice or water wetter and distilled water, instead of coolant. it wont damage ur **** and stockon is way to hot to be fukin round.

itd be nice if i new more people that ride cause i ****, and im sure that id be alot better if i was riding with people better than me. and also im getting a new radiator so ill have two fans i was thinking about hooking up both, so that they just come on and off together.

 

sac isnt that far tho. id ride up there if i had people to ride with.

 

i live in az and ive allways wanted to install gsxr oil cooler, anybody else hooked up a oil cooler on a honda?

 

All bikes have oil coolers just not external row finned ones like the 1000 GSXR

What was your plan to replace the OEM cooler or add another one in-line?

 

yeah and install a coil style cooler

 

interesting Id like to see how much that effects the bikes temp
