ok my dumb *** lost my only key and now my bike is stuck at my friends house......what can i do? is there anyway to bypass it to get it home? does anyone have a ignition, gascap, and seat lock for a 2001 gsxr 600 for sell??? please hook a boy up!

I got an ignition off an '01 600 for $70...I don't have matching gas cap and seat lock though they have different keys..PM me if you want it..

 

Take the tank off and bring it to the locksmith. Have him make a couple of keys. Not just one!!

Be able to prove you own the bike.

 

take of the ignition and take it to a locksmith... or go to the dealer and gives the vins and proof of ownership. Worse comes to worse break the igniton.

ontopic:the dealer can get you a key if you have the keycode that comes with your bike when brand new. I've seen all of about 2 people still hold on to them, and their both like 65. ha.

Im giving step by step instructions with pictures on the correct tools needed to change an ignition system. That way you dont have to tap out any screws and I also gave estimates on how much everything should cost. Go check it out!!!
