Helmet cleaning?

My helmet doesnt have removable pads,whats the best way to clean out the funkyness

damp rag, not soaked, just wipe it out, frebreeze it, let it sit outside int he sun and dry. Should get rid of some funkyness

some..then its gonna smell like sweat and frebreeze...not a good mix..put it in the dish washer

note to self when wanting to clean a helmet put it in a dishwasher.

no smell at all:YEAH it did take all day to dry in 100deg. sun though

Don't use laundry soap in the dishwasher
I used to put my hats in the dishwasher. I'm not sure about putting it through the drying cycle

I put a dryer sheet in my **** and set it on my floor vent works really well smells like new money

The best soap to use is baby shampoo as it is not as abrasive and won't tear up the soft materials the liner is made of...

I have used regular shampoo to clean a helmet liner. Brought it right in the shower. It took forever to dry but it worked.
