Or you over-revved it and bent a valve.

A rev limiter is a really good thing to have but they aren't perfect.

When you do the leakdown test on the low comp. cylinder, listen for air leaking out. If you hear it in the pipe, exhaust valve. In the airbox, intake valve. From the oil filler cap, bad rings. Take off the radiator cap. If you see bubbles, head gasket or some other leak to the cooling system.

150 psi is fine man, usually the normal spec is is like a 20-30psi spread.

If a valve is worn out by sinking into the seat the clearance will tighten up.

If it's stuck open for some reason (bent, etc) the clearance will be too large.
