Re: New 905 crashcage

imo...they ****
the bars are way too thin and the first good fall will bend the **** out of them..and you will never be able to get the cage on again if you take it off
i had a buddy build my cage..and ive dropped it on its side from 12 o clock..and it just scratched it...

905 kicks ***. Done a couple descent drops, just a matter on how you take the cage off/bolt it back on. Every cage is gonna substain damage. People cartwheel thier bikes and everythings wadded up INCLUDING the cage, and they get pissed cause its bent. lol

Re: New 905 crashcage

That cage sux. Mine had bad welds, tube broke. The cage shifts A LOT. And i never drop my bike hard. I always hold on to it.

The only time i dropped it hard was on a high side fast ss circle. The cage pushed so far in that it destroyed my case cover and took a huge chunk off my motor block. <---that was a brand new cage that had never touched the ground.

If you like spending half a day trying to take it off and 2 full days trying to put it back on then buy it.

how does a brand name of a bike make a difference???

its the metal of the cage and bar that matters.

isn't that an identical model of a 905 cage? yet you post it online.. you can get sued for that..

ppl need to realize, it's a cage.. not jesus... imagine how your bike would have been on stupid drops without a cage.. my buddy complains on his 600rr that one drop and the cage bent.. well you know what.. if it didn't have a cage.. it woulda bent his bars, smashed both side covers, and both rear sets.. they aren't tanks..they are just added protection. i had a 905 ona f4i, but never dropped it.. and now i have a mxd on this 905.. but haven't dropped it.. so i can't really judge the difference.. but either way.. it's better than bare cases smashing into the ground
