not a big FI fan for cages.....but I love their 12 bars!!!

I never really liked the design of the FI, and for some reason everyone I know that is pretty good and drops there bikes soft and easy have had real good luck with FI cages (Dan Jackson for instance)......but the people I know who were learning to stunt (2 of my buddies especially) they seem to wreck a lil more akward and the cages get destroyed in a weekend....my buddy's 954 cage's sliders have broken the frame, the left side sticks out an extra 8-10 inches (bashing shin worse than any 905).

FI cages in my mind are for people who already got things down and want a lower profile cage. I may get one down the road if I ever get to that point! But for now I need somin super strong and that I can repeatedly drop my bike without having to replace the cage over and over!

thats not true... last night i stalled a circle, fell back and hit the pipe, fell off the bike and the thing fell straight to the side and pancakes like F*ck and nothing happened.

FI cages tend to have a bad rep becuase R6's fall apart with them on, but they will also fall apart with anything on.

everyone has different experiences with every product too.....about a week ago I saw a 905 cage on a 905 take ONE drop and now its gonna have to be cut off to get it off, yet my 905 has lasted quite awhile

Just like everyone says to buy a 12 bar, don't make one...........I got a homemade one and its worked fine!

Re: 600rr help

ya i made the bar for my 954 and it works great, i think on this bike im either gunna weld a round bar to the muffler or not run one at all, so a good question is how well is the muffle attached i havent really looked.
