Sorry, need all the help I can get.

Just finished putting the motor in my 05 600. I bought the frame and motor separately.
Anyway, went to start the bike and when i turn on the key I hear the fuel pump start, I wait a few seconds and try the start button, bike will just turn over, never start.

Any ideas? Any ideas on how to make a dealer switch so I can check the cluster code?

Any help appreciated.

ok, got the dealer mode to reveal error code C41 - now what?

I am not sure how to test a relay?

check ur fuel quality and plugs too

 

Got it!

Checked the relay - it was good.

Ran direct power to the Fuel Pump, it ran fine.

Disconnected everything, and reconnected all the connectors - bike fired right up.

Often the most simple things. I am going to assume re-connecting everything probably attached a loose connection that caused the C41 code.
