ok so the headlight is not working.. there is no power going to the fuses, the fuses are fine and so are the bulbs.. wtf is wrong,, i hear that the switch craps out sometimes,, but why is there no power going to the fuses,, i used a test light and nothing..

 

Mine did the same thing.....if its the same witch thet all are... I have an 01 and the front wire harness plugs in to the main one on the right side just under the air duct. Remove the right fairing and locate it find the plug, turn on the key and take a small screw driver and push all the wires and plugs back in, its prob from comming down hard. It seems to pull out or loosen its connection and not work. If your high beam light doesn't work then you will know its out and every thing else does???? WTF......it wracked my head for a few but I just stated from the Bulbs and went Back.

thanks alot for the info coach.. I did almost mouse trap that *****,, there is alot of engine braking,, way more then im used to.. So ill check that out.. thanks man..

yeah i agree.
Just got down working on my freinds 02 600 that fried his connector, my 01 did the same thing. Clean the connector and your good.

 

yup sure enough that was it.. its an 01,, i just giggled the conection and it turned on,, then i duct taped it and it was good to go.. Thanks..

 

Good......I did the same but it still acts up once and a while......

 

i had the same problem with a similart swithch on my 00 750 only it was the brake lights that were playing up.
