so i land a coaster and my f4i dies...totally dies..no FI priming,no turning over,no clicks from the relays..now dont give me stupid **** like is your kick stand wired up,your tip over,kill switch,all the fuses are fine... blah blah blah..something major broke or came loose..i have the whole wiring harness out,everything connected right and getting power that i can see..yes the battery is good..wtf is this..its doing nothing like theres no power going anywhere,but from what my test light says power is going everywhere it should be...whaaat is this?

 

help..gauges come on everything...just no relay clicks,starter or FI prime...wtf

ok during my tickering i guess i did something to make the relays come on and click,and the motor to crank..which is better than it was before but still no fi prime WHAT THE ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

do you have power reaching the fuel pump ? Just a stab in the dark here..

 

Check the ground wire going to the back of the motor!!!!!!!!!

 

i test lighted the fuel pump clip coming off the wiring harness..no power coming out of there just one ground.. the motor cranks and relays clicks...but still no fi..the ignition fuse and the 30 amp main fuse are all good...kill switch is wired together correctly,tip over wired...WTF is it

 

the three pins in the fuel pump clip on the wiring harness,the far left one is a good ground..the other two pins arnt getting any power tho..also should the wires at the tip sensor be getting power? if so their not..i dunno what it could be besides something in the wiring harness

 

ur harness hanging down near your fender/radiator? when u set it down any way u could have pinched that ****

 

This kinda sounds like what happened to my f4i. The gauges and everything cam on but my high beam light was stuck on and no turn signal lights would come on. The Fi light wouldnt come on or prime the pump so after a little digging i found i pinched wire soming off the harness the headlights plug into. Maybe start there, does the pump prime when hooked straight up to the battery?

 

I'd check for a pinched wire. If your getting power to the pump and the ground on the back of the motor is straight that would be my next check. Good luck sounds like your gonna be there awhile
