I could not get that thing off to save my life. I took it to a shop and they hit it with an impact wrench. That didnt work. They heated it with a torch and hit it again with an impact wrench. That didnt work. The dude just ended up cutting off that nut.

In the how to forums someone said they had to soak the nut in liquid wrench overnight and then it finally came off with a socket. also don't forget to flaten the lock washer.

...Yea make sure the lock washer is flattened. Using the correct socket i got from PepBoys, but the bike in gear, slide the socket on, get yourself a nice big breaker bar, hold the rear brake lever down with your foot, grab the end of the breaker bar and it should just pop right loose. A longer breaker bar is better-I used one like 4 feet long.

If its the OEM Kawi manual its for both the 600RR and 636R, anything thats different on the bikes will have instructions and pics for both

My front sprocket came off easy with the right socket and a 2' breaker bar, held the rear brake an popped her loose.....Last time took it off it was hand tight
