Can you paint a sprocket?

I was thinking about painting my sprocket. Is it possible without making it look like poo or f-ing it up? What kind of paint should I use?

Jsut like anything, it can be painted....

It will wear off the teeth though, just use Krylon or any other bomb can goodness.

i did notice my feul pump doesn't turn on every now and then
I always thought it was because the factory rectifier doesn't interact well with my new balance point

use about 4 coats of each color if you paint it, that's what I did to mine and they looked fine.
