Re: no fuel pum on 954

Tip over sensor is behind the gauges on top the headlight... it was under the seat on the 929 i think...

It's a bi*ch to get to... gotta take the whole front fairing off and apart.

The front fairing on the 954 comes off in like 10 minutes....its cake to do if it is the tip over sensor.........

Thumbs up Re: no fuel pum on 954

yo mang see if this helps u any..i have a 929 and shes a lil ***** sometimes...i would verify to see if the fuel pump works...u should hear this when u turn the ignition key on w/o hittin the starter button...if u dont hear anything, next would be to see if theres a short, or somthin grounding it...if u want take ur tank off and test the connecter for resistance..and since the tank is off u can test the pump itself to see if it works, by engergizing the ciruit with a battery and hook up the wires directly to the connecter and if shes spitttin fuel oviously u know it works, from there i would go to the igniton switch and check that, and resistance to see if ur ignition switch is good...if not check the tip sensor....hope this helps a lil...clutch it up..
