Gsxr1000FrontEndOnGsxr600

Has anyone done this? I am putting my '04 1000 front end on my '02 600. As long as the steering stops match up, the front tire doesn't hit the radiator, or the rake isn't f**ked. Those are the problems I've read about. If there are others let me know. Thanks.

Why dont you just put 00-03 750 forks on it????? Just as good as the 1000, there inverted. And there gauranteed to fit no problems!!!!!!

1000 front end will def. fit. But the 02 600 breaks will be different than the 04 1000 breaks. the 01 and 02 breaks and the 01-03 600 are the same bolt pattern. 03-04 1000 is same as 04 up 600. but everything else lines up great. I have 1000 front end on my crunchy 600 and i love it. Soooo much better for stoppies. Good luck

They bolt right up but if you want to use your stock 02 600 rotors you will need to use caliper spacers. Also the rear front fender mount doesnt line up, I just leave em out......In the pic you can see the spacers I have made to allow the use of the bigger 320mm rotors from the 600. If you dont want to run spacers an big rotors you'll need to use the 1000 rotors from those forks.....BTW these front ends kick *** on the 600....

had an '03-'04 1000 front end on my '03GSXR 600, perfect fit (you either have to use '03-'04 1000 rotors or get spacers like mentioned above)

Re: Gsxr1000FrontEndOnGsxr600

Thanks, I have a complete 1000 bike. So I'm swaping the entire front end, wheel, brakes, forks, steering column, the whole thing. So it matches up perfect, great.
