Re: Handbrake on top or bottom of clutch???
i got stuck with the HB on top, now that I took the fairings off I have the clutch lever aimed straight down and the HB is managable, run it under the clutch.

i don't have a hb, but everyone runs clutch on top, hb on bottom. cuz when the bike is up the lower hb feels more natural. and is right there, rather than having to angle your hand upward

I used to have my h/b on the bottom on my gixxer. It worked alright but it kicks your wrist back too much for me, but it all depends on your set up. What clutch perch, and m/c.
now I run it on the bottom, and am about to chop a few inches off the brake and clutch lever

Re: Handbrake on top or bottom of clutch???
I've got an F4i with 954 front end, clip-ons on top of triple slightly turned out. The brake master is a 954 and I'm using the stock clutch perch. Both brake lever and clutch lever are stock and cut down a bit.
I'm just now learning to even use it, but I wanted to set it up so that I could get use to the location and the feel. I also look in the future (hopefully within a year) and maybe one day I'll need to use both the handbrake and the clutch at the same time and don't want to have to re-learn the position of both.

Re: Handbrake on top or bottom of clutch???
a copped the hb setup from the stunt factory! it has one of those levers that doesent have to be flipped. it has the rectangle resavior attached directly to it! on a stock clipon the only way i can get it to fit is hb on the top because if i put it on the bottom the clutch cable is in the way and the hb is pointing all the way down! it seems very un natural to have the hb on the top! i might sell it and scoop the 954 jammy and flip it! ??? ???

but for
-coasters clutch on botom would be nic
-ss break on botom
-hc break on bottom
-spreaders break on bottom
-run behinds break on bottom
-sit down circles i slip mine so clutch on botom would be most comfortable but either if you have agood set up.
on saves its been nice to have clutch on top deff. for saves..faster to get too. so yea clutch on top.
im still trying to figure out the position best for sliping clutch on hc circles???
