short pip loudness

i want a loud short pip , i have d& d right now and i love it , i know about hacking it up , but i was wondering did they make onese that load,???

I had a D&D on my bike for about 2 days then got rid of it it was annoying as hell when i was at the spot it drove everyone nutz

+1 Loud pipes are annoying in a lot. They draw unwanted attention and are obnoxious. But yes, it will be louder if you cut it down.

my cut down stock isnt much louder than it was at full length. I've heard a cut jardine it was like 2 times louder than full length. Stock pipes saves lots

I have a 10-1/2" Vance and Hines. I have never started the bike with that pipe on long OR short...time will tell! I hope it's cool.

+1 on the stock pipe...I have a cut down jardine on my F4i and it was cool at first but now its just a pain in the ***...all u do is draw uneeded and usually unwanted attention...**** i have neighbors calling me in just for cruising. Im lookin for a stock slip on...too bad half the ppl out there r on crack and want like a hundo for it.

I used to have the stock length Supersport, and everyone complained about that. I never thought much about it until I was riding my brand new 636 and I let a buddy ride the ZX6 with V&H....damn that thing was annoying! I think shorter will make it more so.

I like my stock pipes that are cut down...good sound and not too annoying. Sounds good when getting on it down the road, but not too annoying in a lot!

i was rased with the thoght proses, straght pipes save lifes, and i amn goign to stick with it, i will probly just swop out the pipes, as needed, i need to find a stock pip now , thanks every one

In my area, the cops have been known to give out excessive noise tickets for loud pipes...mostly to sportbikes though. Seems Hardleys just don't get those tickets...wierd, huh?
