hey im getting a top clamp from Bill at FT, but he has other **** in the works so... I don't know when im getting it from him , In the mean time im going to drill my stock top clamp any one have any good ideas on the best setup?{washers, backing plate. ect} i don't want the bars to pull out i.e.{bust the top clamp} in an ape hanger ot a cliff hanger..

Hey bro what's up. I've drilled the top clamp, backed up the bottom side with a 1/8 inch plate of CRS (cold rolled steel). Was still afraid of it breaking out so I tig welded the risers/clamps in place. just my . Hope this helps. This was not on a buell but should still work.
