Wuz up fellas? I finally got myself a very clean R1, I've been wanting my own bike for a minute (been ridin' all my partnas bikes) and now that I've got it, I'm wantin' to make sure I keep it. Just wondering if anybody's got any suggestions as to what the best ways to secure ya bike are ? YEA I KNOW THAT A GARAGE WOULD BE NICE BUT I AIN'T GOT ONE, SO 86' THAT SHYT...holla back

+1 on the gun. big cable through the wheel would slow em down if they dont have big bolt cutters

 

pit bull chained to the front tire. motion lights help, a second kill switch (hidden naturally) just build a plywood shed around your bike and lock it. even if its just a little bit more difficult to get to that helps

they sell disc locks, or a heavy cable with a big pad lock...also they sell lil sheds for pretty cheap i wud look into that

I park my 954 in my livingroom...

 

heres my setup, 2004 rc51

scorpio PAGING alarm, with tilt, shock, ignition tamper, and proximity sensors
disc lok on the front wheel
steering locked
cable lock through the back wheel, to another bike
and i have lojack-lol-came with the bike

IN MY GARAGE, with the entry door from the house locked, and the main door locked.

Anyone with that sort of dedication-deserves to have it. lol

 

Lock that sh@t inside at night and if you are out and about on the streets cross your fingers because bikes are just too damn easy to steal bottom line. Play it safe whenever possible part upfront.

 

Keep it inside Any cables or locks and alarms and low jack is limited and dont keep them from picking it up

 

Yea my buddy in florida had his 750 picked up and thrown on its side in the bed of a truck.

Where I live bike jackin aint that common so i never worry about it I always park it inside thats ur best security...i also park it in a corner between a wall a car and facing another wall. aint nobdy touchin that with out waking me up...i cant afford a gun...but I have a katana and a bow&arrow hahahahaha.

What about a pair of shackles like the ones they put around ppls ankles? Slap one end on the rotors or sumthing then the other end to a pole?

 

i work for a stereo shop and we install these new viper alarms on bikes called (merlin) they work really good and they are ment for bikes ! they are very small and very f*ucking loud when they go off. cant tilt the bike an iinch with out it going off if it is really installed correctly. check it out
